AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed – 2 Tim. 2:15) is a global, non-denominational ministry committed to advancing God’s kingdom and impacting local communities by leading young people and children towards love for God and His Word.
New Heart’s AWANA program meets on Thursday nights (during the school year) from 6:15-8:15 pm at the church.
At AWANA we break into the following age-appropriate groups: Cubbies (Pre-K children who are ‘potty trained’); Sparks (K-2nd grade); Truth and Training ‘T&T’ (3rd-6th grade); Trek Club (7th-8th grade); and Journey 24/7 (9th-12th grade).
