Not every passage in the Bible is CRYSTAL CLEAR.
Too often, we ARGUE OVER the unclear and IGNORE the crystal clear.
We dont know how to AGREE TO DISAGREE.
I. How I see it.
I Timothy 3:1a(NIV)
1Here is a trustworthy saying: If anyone sets his heart on being an overseer, he desires a noble task. 2Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife,
II. WHAT TO DO WHEN THE OTHER SIDE DOESNT GET IT
? If its black & white and crystal clear DIVIDE OVER IT.
Galatians 1:8-9/ 1 Timothy 4:7, 2 Timothy 3:5 & Titus 3:10/ 1 Corinthians 5:9-13
Galatians 1:8-9(NIV)
8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 9As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!
If its not, UNITY is more important than UNIFORMITY.
