Health Screening Clinic

Do you have a personal or family history of stroke, aneurysms, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc? Arcata First Baptist Church is hosting a health screening clinic on Tuesday, July 29th. Appointments are necessary and there are fees involved. Fliers are located at the Information Table if you would like more details.

Refreshment Team

The Refreshment Team is in need of more helpers. Being part of this team includes shopping for food, setting up coffee, serving food and then cleaning up on Sunday morning. You can be on the schedule monthly or bi-monthly, (even having people willing to be substitutes when a regular team member is unavailable is helpful). If you would like to be part of this hardworking, but much appreciated team please contact Karen Wasson (karen@eweneek.com).

Children’s Ministry NEEDS You!

If you have been a part of NHCC for at least 6 months and love kids (and of course Jesus!) we need you. There are so many children that we need to open a new age group. Training and encouragement are provided. We need two 5th grade leaders and four pre-K leaders. For more information please contact Amber ( or 616-7964).

As you grow in your commitment to your church family and to spiritual maturity you will find you’re ready for ministry. This class is designed to help you discover your S.H.A.P.E. and direct you toward a place of ministry that will be fulfilling for you as a Believer.
