About Us...

Many of our members call us, "The welcoming church."  We like that!

We are a group of friendly, happy people who believe attending church should be enjoyable.  If you enjoy contemporary church services,  have given up on traditional church services, or have never been to church, New Heart is the right place for you.  We want you to relax and feel at home with us.

We meet in the relaxed setting of McKinleyville's Activity Center in Pierson Park at 10:00 a. m. each Sunday.  Click here for more location information.


History
New Heart began in 1994 as a church plant sponsored by her home church, Trinity Baptist Church in Arcata.  Although there were and still are other good churches in McKinleyville, we believed God purposed us to start New Heart as an alternative, not to pull people out of there current churches but to reach the unreached and unchurched in McKinleyville and its surrounding areas.

As all churches do, we have had struggles and difficulties, but God has glorified Himself by showing His mercy, grace, peace and  provision during these years, and we have continued to fulfill the vision God gave us those short ten years ago.

Future Goals
New Heart is growing and has just entered in to a Capital Campaign to purchase land, which is currently in escrow, with the plan to build within the next three to five years.
